Well this feels slightly alien to me…I haven’t done this in a couple of weeks now. It’s been a time, let me tell you. But I’m back.
I’m going to keep it short this week, as there has been lots going on (hence the 2 week break from writing this) and it would be an MBA worthy essay if I covered it all.
It’s been a rollercoaster of a time – after graduation I returned back to Yorkshire for a bit. Whilst I was home, my Granny unfortunately passed away and so we had the funeral last week, down in Devon.
At the beginning of October I moved to London, however without actually having a flat. This meant I’ve been in and out of Holiday Inns and my two sisters’ apartments. It’s not been ideal, as you can imagine, I’m heading into my third week of living out of a suitcase and constantly being outbid on flats. I have literally been to see over thirty places now! It’s mad.
In more exciting news, Jas and I officially started work! It’s been a crazy two weeks of 14 hour days; but it’s been so fun and I feel so privileged to be able to have this opportunity to try out start-up life.
We did a little rebranding exercise in these first few weeks and have launched our website (please check it out and follow us on IG!) https://www.weareluna.app
And lastly, I’m pleased to say I’m finally back running! I completed the Oxford Half Marathon today and I’m so happy! It definitely wasn’t a PB (1:46:01) but considering nearly 6 months ago to the day I broke my foot, I’m really pleased and proud of myself.
Next week I’ll be back with more detail on start-up life; it’s going to be a crazy ride.
