Three weeks of Luna and I finally have a flat!

The biggest news, by far this week, is the fact that I finally have somewhere to live! It has been an annoying few weeks, living out of a suitcase and moving from location to location every few days. So, it’s such a big relief to finally have somewhere to live!

The flat is north of the river, which is where I ideally wanted to be (northern at heart), so it has all worked out in the end. I have a couple more weeks of living in other accommodation but then hopefully will get the keys in early November.

Apart from flat hunting, this week has been another busy one at Luna HQ. We attended a Techstars conference on Monday and Tuesday, which was interesting and nice to go to an in-person event. The rest of the week we spent doing everything! You don’t realise, until you start your own thing and you are the boss, how much there is to do and how much there is to think about!

We took the big step of creating a social media presence and updating our LinkedIn pages, which in this day and age is a big statement to the world. The response we have had from friends, old colleagues and even completely unknown people has been amazing. It feels like we have a lot of support behind us, which is brilliant – let’s hope it continues right the way through to launch!

I finished the week with a wonderful trip up north to meet the newest member of my best friend crew; little baby Leo. The tiniest of babies and oh so adorable, it was so lovely to spend a few hours with Kirsty, Todd and Leo.

Absolute cutie

Back on the train tomorrow morning, feeling pumped for week 4 in Luna HQ! Lots of exciting meetings planned, so I’m sure it will be another big one. If you’re interested, please do sign up at http://www.weareluna.app to follow our progress and if you know a 9-16 year old girl, a parent of one, or a teacher who teaches that age group, please, please do let me know! We would love to chat with them.
